Night Runs With The GOATS

You are invited to night runs with GOAT's. Beginning Friday, April 13th, we will have one Friday night run each month through July, culminating with an Angry Cow/Mad GOAT's night race at Platte River State Park on July 28th (start time TBD).

The night runs will begin near dusk with some daylight left, finishing in the dark and will range from 4 - 6 miles (approximately 1 hour). These are the perfect introduction to the experience of running at night, with a headlamp, on the trails.

Bring your husbands, wives, kids, and friends and let them experience the thrill of running at night. If they are not runners, they will surely appreciate the scene of headlamps snaking through the trees.

Schedule:

Friday, April 13 at Cunningham Lake. Hit the trail at 7:45 p.m. - Directions
Friday, May 4 at Swanson Park. Hit the trail at 8:10 p.m. - Directions
Friday, June 8 at Tranquility Park. Hit the trail at 8:40 p.m. - Directions
Friday, July 6 at Platte River State Park. Hit the trail at 8:30 p.m. - Directions
Saturday, July 28 Heifer Hustle Twilight Run (3, 6, and 13 miles) at Platte River State Park. - Register

Headlamps required for all participants. If you don't have a headlamp, there may be some extras or you can find one at a number of stores in the area (Canfields, Cabelas, Scheels) or online.
