High Octane Bars

2 C quick oats
1 C milled flaxseed
1 C vanilla whey protein powder
1 C dried cranberries (I used cranraisins)
1 C dark chocolate chips (I used white, but any flavor will do)
1 C peanut butter (I used Nutella, but you could use almond butter too)
1 C honey
Mix all dry ingredients, then add honey & peanut butter & stir until well blended. Spread into 8x8 in pan & refrigerate until ready to serve. Cut into 16-2x2 in squares. Tip: they are easier to cut BEFORE you refrigerate.
Great for fueling up &/or recovery. This dose of carbs helps athletes replenish blood sugars during recovery. ENJOY!
